ARGUS Umweltbiotechnologie GmbH © 2024 ARGUS Umweltbiotechnologie GmbH Sampling Successful carrying-out of sampling is achieved through the capability of the technique and consideration of the applicable laws, ordinance, standards and regulations, e.g. German Law for Soil Protection (BBodSchG, BBodSchV), DIN-Standards, LAGA, LAWA, AQS-Bulletins, Technical Rules of the DVGW/DVWK, VDI-Guidelines, etc. Our field assistants hold technical expertise in the areas of soil science, chemistry/water chemistry, geology/hydrogeology as well as monitoring and groundwater monitoring well construction, and are familiar with various processes for exploration of the subsurface, suitable techniques for recovery of soil samples and correct operation, cleaning and maintenance of required equipment (e.g. on-site cleaning of pumps and monitoring devices). The accreditation is valid for the test methods listed in the annex to the certificate. Fundamental Methods for Quality Assurance during sampling: •Special processing/work instructions •Monitoring of work quality in line with internal and external audits •Considering the previous utilisation of the contaminated location •Close contact with our clients and the laboratory •Preparing a sampling plan, Erstellen eines Probenahmeplanes , with for example: -all relevant parameters and characteristics of the sampling point -order of sampling -explicit labelling of samplings -depth of sampling -pump rate -total water amount (which has to be pumped out before sampling) -required analysis •Selection of the sampling sites (representativeness of the sample, sampling strategies) •Time of the sampling (for example on farming soils or sampling of soil vapour) •Creating the necessary spatial and staffing conditions and technical requirements on the sampling site (checklists for the integrity and completeness of the equipment ) •Guarantee of abscence of obstacles before drilling •Protecting of the sampling site to climatic influences and from unauthorised entry •Selection oft the appropriate sampling techniques (depending on investigation's purposes, the nature of medium to be sampled, sampling depth, sample quantities) •Revision of cleaning success of sampling devices (blank value measurement) •Regular maintenance of sampling devices •Daily testing and calibration of measuring instruments •Running control charts for indicative parameter •Correct sampling techniques according to legal requirements •Avoiding of transfer of pollutants between sampling sites and sampling depths •Appropriate sampling containers (material, leakproofness, purity, cleanness) •Sample conservation, transport and storage according the legal requirements •Documentation of sampling (mapping of the sampling site, bore logs, sampling protocolls) •Examination of documentation for completeness and plausibility •Disposal of the drilling materials and pumped groundwater according legal requirements DAkkS accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 The accreditation is valid since: Juli 23, 2024 Downloads: Annex to the accreditation certificate A Annex to the accreditation certificate A Annex to the accreditation certificate A List of accredited procedures in the flexible accreditation area A List of accredited procedures in the flexible accreditation area A List of accredited procedures in the flexible accreditation area A |
